Naturally Grown, Range Reared Lean Lamb

ATKINS RANCH

The story of Atkins Ranch and Atkins Ranch Lamb begins in the fresh air of the green, productive hill country pastures of New Zealand.

John Atkins and his family have been ranchers for more than five generations. On their rolling  hill property, they are dedicated to providing healthy, lean lambs, which have never been in a feed lot.

Along with fellow ranchers, who are growing lamb for the Atkins Ranch program, John decided to investigate the North American and European markets. He discovered a special need for their healthy, free-range, naturally grown product.

Atkins Ranch has its own grading system to ensure consistent quality focusing on tenderness and leanness. Lambs are “Lean Grown” not “ Lean Trimmed”.

Atkins Ranch also places special emphasis on supplying naturally grown, lean lambs, 52 weeks of the year. This guarantees an uninterrupted supply of lambs, to satisfy the demands of our customers.

All Atkins Ranch Lamb is grown naturally, with no artificial feed additives, growth stimulants or hormones. Atkins Ranch also supports New Zealand’s GMO– free status.
